What are your fees and payment policy?
Fees vary depending on the type of service being offered. For information about our current fees, please contact us directly.
Payments are usually due at the time of each appointment unless agreed with PsyNeu. Typically, should the fee not be paid for two or more sessions, no further sessions will be scheduled until the balance is paid and/or payment arrangements have been made with PsyNeu.
Are services covered by insurance?
All private insurance providers cover our psychological services, although each provider differ in their amounts. Please check your provider to determine exactly how much mental health coverage is available as you will be responsible for the financial difference not covered under your insurance policy.
How do I make an appointment and is a referral required?
PsyNeu does not require a physician’s referral. Appointments can be made directly via phone, email or by using our online booking platform.
How long are sessions and how frequent are sessions?
A standard therapy session is 60 minutes in duration. PsyNeu also provides shorter and longer alternatives. Session frequency is dependent on the unique needs of each client with consideration given to symptom severity, level of distress, availability, and financial constraints.
What is the cancellation or missed appointment policy?
To get the most benefit from therapy, it is important to attend regularly scheduled appointments. If you need to cancel an appointment, we require a 24-hour notice so that we can provide that time to another individual.
You will be charged the full hourly rate plus added fees for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance and for missed appointments (these costs are not covered by insurance companies). If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact your therapist directly.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?
You are eligible for a full refund before the 1st of the designated seasonal shipment month. Partial refunds are given for cancellations from the 2nd-14th of the designated seasonal shipment month. Boxes that have already shipped are not eligible for refunds.

Do I have to be an existing client at the PsyNeu to purchase boxes?
No, PsyNeu Boxes are available for anyone and everyone!
What do I do if my box is damaged during shipping or I am missing an item?
Our PsyNeu boxes are carefully inspected and packed with love! In the unlikely event that items are missing or damaged let us know within the first 7 days of receiving your box for replacement!
What is the age group for PsyNeu Boxes?
PsyNeu boxes are split into two categories: Child and Teen/Adult.
The items in our psychoeducational sensory boxes are appropriate for all ages but as a general rule of thumb, the Children’s PsyNeu Box is for 4-12 years and the Teen/Adult box is for 13 years and higher.
What are the billing terms?
No year-long commitment, no reoccurring payments! We want you to use and enjoy our PsyNeu Boxes with out any commitment hassle - making PsyNeu Boxes perfect for individual purchase or gifting. Our PsyNeu Boxes are available seasonally (every three months) but thanks to our 'pre order feature', you don't have to wait to enjoy your next box!

When are PsyNeu boxes shipped and delivered?
If you have made a purchase or pre order, PsyNeu Boxes are shipped seasonally between the 15th and 20th of March, June, September and December.
Local boxes are available for delivery or pickup. For international boxers, stay tuned as we will be expanding delivery services very soon!
